Wouldn’t it be great if every MP in the new parliament heard about 1GOAL from schools in their constituencies? All our MPs can help to make sure that the UK plays its part in achieving education for all by 2015.

You can do your bit by telling them about what you are doing in your school. We've designed a special card for you to download and use for your message.

We suggest that you print the card onto thick paper or card if you have some (double sided).

Use it to write a message of congratulations to your new MP, letting them know about your involvement in 1GOAL – Send My Friend to School. You might like to ask your students to decorate it too.

You can download this card and send it off to tell them who is involved at your school and why you are taking part.

You might also like to invite them in to school for a visit, when they could hear from students at a 1GOAL event or assembly and answer your questions on education for all. Or ask them to write to you outlining their views on education for all.

You can write to them at, ‘House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA’ or use the internet to find out the address of their local constituency office. If you don’t know who the school’s MP is go to http://findyourmp.parliament.uk/ and search by entering the school’s postcode.

Don’t forget to include your contact details – school name and address, your email and phone number – so that they can respond.
